Goal Setting and Financial Planning Class

Start a financial plan, improve your financial plan or just remind yourself of financial basics in the neutral setting of the Lyons Regional Library.

In the Goal Setting and Financial Planning class offered at the Lyons Regional Library next Thursday, June 30, at 6 pm, learn why we deal with money and finances the way we do. Together, we can look at the influences of five areas on our lives: 1) The years in which you grew up; 2) The family in which you

were raised; 3) The bump in the road you and your family have experienced; 4) The age cycle you are in right now; and 5) The habits you have integrated.
In other words, it's not just a simple matter. Our attitudes toward money vary depending on our current and past experiences. So give yourself a break, and start and/or improve small! Coming to this presentation next Thursday could be enlightening to your financial literacy regardless of your income level. The program is neutral, supportive and non-threatening.

The Lyons Regional Library is one of only 14 libraries in Colorado chosen to participate in the financial literacy program "Common Cents for Colorado." The program was initiated by the Estes Park Library, and the Financial Analyst who created it offers free one-on-one financial counseling sessions to those in the classes being offered at the library this summer.

The Lyons Regional Library is located at 405 Main Street. There are many programs every month for families, children, and adults.
